AT&T was able to stir up a buzz as they announce their upcoming HTC One 64GB model as an exclusive. This particular information has been recently confirmed, as the carrier uploaded a new video on its official YouTube channel. The 32GB version will also be offered by the carrier, but will not be an exclusive since Sprint and T-Mobile also confirmed the launch of their HTC One 32GB model of device in February.
At the time, AT&T is the only carrier to announce this variant specification in terms of storage options. Other carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile remain silent for future production of doubled storage HTC One. At this point, no one knows if this exclusivity runs for a short period of time or permanent.
Assuming other carriers would not produce this variant specification, this would mean that mobile buyers like you would have no other choice than to stick to AT&T if you are looking for the absolute maximum amount of storage in the flagship device.
HTC One is one of the most powerful Android smartphones available in the market. It is equipped with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM. Unlike other mobile device, HTC One does not come with MicroSD card slot for expanded storage. Instead, on board and the cloud is being used for storage purposes.
There is no way to add more capacity storage if your phone doesn’t have expanded storage like SD Card, so you’ll have to make do with 32GB for the life of your HTC One, if you will buy the 32Gb version of it. With that, it is very essential as a potential buyer to know the desired level of storage of your mobile phone.
Aside from storage option, AT&T highlighted in their promotional video the color options that you will be able to choose from when you buy the new HTC One: Glacier Silver and Stealth Black.
The mobile device will apparently be rolled out in U.S before the end of April. For those potential buyers who can’t wait this late April, the release date for the device in UK, Germany and Taiwan is expected to fall next week.
