Even before the Mobile World Congress 2013 is about to begin some of the top smartphone makers are already launching out some of the best smartphones that they have in their kitty. While Samsung and Apple have decided to stay quiet and calm HTC and Sony have decided to bring out the new smartphones that will offer new options and features to the buyers. It was Sony that started off with their announcement of Sony Xperia Z and
HTC followed the trend with the launch of HTC One that they believe is the answer to Sony’s superior smartphone device.
Although, both the phones have just been launched in the global market both have something to offer to the premium smartphone buyers and therefore both the smartphone companies are targeting the high end customers that are willing to spend more money on their new mobile devices.
Both HTC One and Xperia Z offer LCD screens that offer highest quality display and picture resolution which offers better options to view pictures and movies with life-like experience. In terms of display Sony takes the lead with 5 inch display while HTC One sports 4.7 inch display but with a higher pixel density of 468 ppi that puts 441 ppi Xperia Z to shame.
On the inside, both the smartphones offer the same Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean experience but while Sony makes use of its user interface software, HTC One packs it up with Sense 5.0 UI which is definitely better than the other leading smartphones in the market. However, Sony Xperia Z takes the cake when it comes to IP57 certification becoming one of the rare high end smartphone that is waterproof and dust proof as well. HTC One sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 while Sony Xperia Z sports Snapdragon S4 Pro that offers lightning fast performance even while multitasking. While HTC One is priced at $735, Sony Xperia Z will be available in the US market for $770 both easily belonging to the $700 plus market range.
