When it comes to the iPad Mini, it is one device that continues to be the talk of the town even though all the talk is sheer speculation and nothing confirmed. Also, it is each and every aspect of the device that is put to close scrutiny, and deals with every angle of it. Be it the retina display that the device is hyped to be arriving with. Rumors of such a display making it to the iPad Mini does hold water given its competitors move to play hardball on the aspect. The Nexus 7 is already official and as things stand right now, the Google tablet packs in twice the memory density than the iPad Mini. Meanwhile, the next gen of Kindle Fire tablets too is expected to come with quite stunning resolution screen. As such, it would be a huge risk if Apple too does not follow suit and offer a higher resolution display on its upcoming iPad Mini.
Another angle of the iPad Mini that has found its way via leaks is the rear view of the device. This leak comes from FanaticFone and from the looks of it, what seems likely is that the case refers to a prototype version of the device given the lack of the iPad Mini badging at the rear. Another aspect evident from the leaked rear shell of the device is that the looks are quite similar to that of the present gen iPad Mini, which means Apple may not have tinkered much with the design of the device. Nothing wrong with that given the devices is still quite fresh and looks better than many of the tablet currently available in the market.
Another contentious issue about the iPad Mini is expected launch date. While some believe it would be coming this September itself, there are those who believe it could arrive late in 2013 or early 2014. We got to wait a few more months to arrive at the reality.
