This year is well-known as a prosperous year for smartphones, like iPhone 7 or Google Pixel. There has been a tight competition between many important companies which produce such devices. Apple launched its new iPhone 7; Google has entered the race when launching Google Pixel while Samsung brought to the public their innovative device Samsung S7.
All these companies have been taken care of their devices implementing better displays which won the appreciation of the public. They are also equipped with amazing cameras and very powerful processors. What is more, most of these smartphones have now the ability to be almost entirely water resistant. This is a very significant property which satisfies the needs of any customer.
Specialists have tried to make a clear-cut distinction between some very popular smartphones to present customers which could be the winner of the competition, being the best smartphone of the year. They have compared six different flagships phones by using the ultimate speed test. The contestants were HTC 10, Sony XZ, LG G5, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7.
To test their speed of action, experts have analyzed their pre-installed games and apps and tested the speed of the device by opening each one twice and then quickly closing it. Surprisingly, the phone which seemed to surpass the performance of the others was the new iPhone 7. Some argue that this may not be a surprise for developers who were pretty confident when launching such a device.
However, we, as consumers, need to know that the competition was pretty tight because the iPhone 7 exceeded the new Samsung S7, surpassing S7’s performance by a minute. Apparently, this was not the first time the new device from Apple has won a speed test. Another team has tested the performance of these two innovative devices from Samsung and Apple, comparing many features.
The other test included the use of apps which need to use the memory at its greatest speed to be opened and closed but also used. After the first cycle, the winner was the iPhone 7. The device managed to open and close some apps in only 1 minute and 40 seconds, establishing a new record. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 7 needed 3 minutes and 14 seconds to accomplish the task. What is more, the device from Google Pixel had also eclipsed the device from Samsung, being in competition with the iPhone 7.
