Jawbone announced a very interesting new tech that was introduced to their new fitness trackers. It seems that the new Jawbone UP4 provides mobile payment support. Jawbone has also presented the UP2 fitness tracker, but this version does now allow you pay at the supermarket for your goods.
So basically all you will need to pay for your shopping beginning with the release of the new devices by Jawbone is your fitness tracker, as Jawbone UP4 provides mobile payment support. You can now go to the gym and make some exercises and then do some jogging to the shops and buy your diet no sugar products with only the device you have been wearing to monitor your heart beat, speed and other things like that.
American Express contactless payments are supported by the new Jaqbone UP4. You can use it to pay for the goods you shopped in any place where American Express contactless payments are permitted.
“We believe this unique technology will delight our active, digitally savvy card members in a powerful way and drive a new type of engagement at hundreds of thousands of merchant locations nationwide,”
Leslie Berland, an official talking on behalf of American Express affirmed in a statement.
Let alone the major improvement and tech integrated by Jawbone to their new gadget, the UP4 fitness tracker has not changed too much from the way previous trackers by Jawbone looked like. The UP4 is still designed as a slim, smooth wearable gadget and also keeps the multi sensor platform that Jawbone UP featured as well. When it comes to what has been added to the fitness tracker, sleep and activity tracking has been improved. Also, heart monitoring has also been enhanced by the developers at Jawbone. The Smart Coach system, also fund in the previous Jawbone fitness trackers can still be found in the Jawbone UP4, as well as the Jawbone UP application.
The owners of American Express cards that wish to benefit from the new feature of the Jawbone fitness tracker, and could not be just a few, will be able to connect their UP4 using the application which works both on iOS and Android. The same details that you use when you access your online account will be needed in order to do that.
Jawbone says that UP4 users will have the same protection provided by an American Express common card. The UP4 is expecte to come out this summer, priced at 199.99 dollars.
