The new smartphone from LG is on its way to making everyone not only want it, but need it as soon as possible. The banana-shaped bend that it has fits every hand just like a glove, taking into consideration that the critics have been stated everywhere that the G Flex that has been launched last year was a little big too big for the hand. G Flex 2 is the new release that solves this problem and also many others, becoming more usable. The device is walking in the air on high expectations. Whether it will succeed in being better of not, is yet an unknown issue.
LG G Flex 2 is the best representative of the industrial design line of LG, being created after the former models have been analyzed and improved in any possible way. Also, the additional optimisations are present in order to enhance the performance of the line of gadgets that LG brings on the market. The company stated that they are confident about the G Flex 2 to deliver great experiences to their customers, with a great blend of multimedia, performance and brilliant design, which is evidently industry-leading.
There were two important criticisms brought to the first version of the G Flex: firstly, the curve that is found on the back of the phone has uncomfortable and the dimensions were above average. Secondly, the quality of the resolution was under the expectations: 720p, even if all its competitors have already reached the 1080p limit; this issue meant even from the beginning that the G Flex would not have so much success as its colleagues on the self. However, 1920 x 1080 isn’t at the moment the highest quality for Android anymore, because the LG’s G3 that was born in 2014 come in at 2560 x 1440 so the new G Flex has something to look up to in its own family.
Fortunately, both problems have been solved with the new model. The display is not 6 inches anymore, but 5.5 inches, measuring 149.1 x 75.3 x 7.1-9.4 mm, versus the 160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9-8.7 mm that the first model was being presented with. There have been improvements regarding the accessibility of holding it and reaching it across the display. Additionally, the bezels are slimmer and it is an important issue from the visual point of view.
Other interesting specifications of the smartphone include a 3000 mAh battery, a 13 megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel front facing shooter. The storage is highly appreciated: 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage that bring everything in Flex 2’s home at any given time.
