It is a bit of a big read for the average user who only wants to know what is going to be fitted inside the LG Nexus 5, but it does show everything about the smartphone, unfortunately LG has requested the page to be taken down and we no longer have the manual link.
Specs on the LG Nexus 5 are as we expected, we have a 4.95-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 8MP OIS rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2300mAh battery and 16/32GB of internal storage.
The normal sensors and wireless features are available, including Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (wireless charging), WiFi ac, GSM/CNDA/LTE, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Proximity/Ambient Light, Pressure and a microSD slot, an unusual feature for a Nexus smartphone.
This is an exciting smartphone, it looks like LG has mapped out the design on the front to look exactly the same as the LG G2, with the small bezels and then added a rubber-back with one of the weirdest cameras we have seen on a smartphone.
Only things Google needs to officially announce now are the release date and price, we have heard Mountain View has an event set on October 31, but other leakers say it could be on October 15, alongside the release of KitKat 4.4, Nexus 10 and the Nexus Q successor.
Price wise, the LG Nexus 5 is expected to be the same price as the Nexus 4, starting at $349 for 16GB and $429 for 32GB. This would be a brilliant off contract choice, especially with the unskinned version of Android KitKat 4.4 present.
