A couple of days ago, news circulated like wildfire about the new AT&T LG Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the LG Optimus G. This new update is specifically designed for the AT&T unit and as the news suggested, the long awaited Jelly Bean is now available for LG Optimus owners. Owners who would want to acquire the update can just buy the Optimus G since the update comes along with the LG phone.
Most users found it astonishing that the update roll for this new device will specifically be for the Android smart phone line and it will be in a form of a 350MB piece of magnificent software which is specifically designed to optimize the Optimus G. Owners will be able to update their 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the new update.
Sure enough, AT&T released news that they have confirmed the release of the LG Optimus G and they even mentioned that it will be one of the best updates ever. Users no longer need to download any flashing tools or illegal software since the update is easy to install. Owners simply need to go to the settings to the General tab and then all the way down to the About phone settings. In the About settings there is a software update button and once it is clicked then users will be able to update their OS version.
However, it is advised to have at least half a battery before the update since not finishing the update can ruin your phone’s integrity. The new Jelly Bean update is said to have the new Google now and it will have a smoother interface and improved camera coordination. It will also have a better wallet competitor including several other added programs like the tweaked calendar and the ISIS which will have the NFC capabilities.
