LG Smart Lamp Is The New Light Fixture For iOS And Android

LG Smart Lamp will be rivaling with Philips Hue bulbs.

What sets apart the LG Smart Lamp from other light fixture devices you might ask? Well, for starters, you can control it using any device that runs on iOS 6.0 and Android 4.3 through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. To use LG Smart Lamp you just need to download the app on your smartphone so you can make all the necessary adjustments like dimming the light or turning it on and off. Downloading the app on your mobile device also gives you some other cool features like Play Mode or Security Mode. With Play Mode the bulb from the lamp makes automatic adjustments on the brightness using the beats of the music you play on your phone. For example, if you listen to a fast beat song, the bulb will flash at a fast rate which creates a groovy party ambiance. For now, Party Mode works only on Android devices.

The Smart Lamp from LG notifies you when you receive a call, blinking. This feature makes it useful whenever we don’t have our phone in our sight or in the bag. The Smart Lamp is also 80% more efficient when it comes to battery life, unlike other lamps. It uses a LED technology and it provides more Lumens even if your phone is at a low power. If you use it for five hours daily the LG Smart Lamp can last you a decade.

LG Smart Lamp costs $32 and it is only available in South Korea for the time being. When it will be release on the international market we will definitely let you know.
