The good news is that Kickstarter’s new project LifePrint wireless printer will help preserve your snapshots. LifePrint is a compact 1.5 pound device that you connect to a WiFi connection at your home where it receives a signal to print photos via the LifePrint app from anyone in your social networks.
The new LifePrint wireless printer has the usual editing features and it works from anywhere just as long you have a 3G service. You designate the photos you want to get printed and send them to LifePrint. This printer has a lithium ion battery that is rechargeable and can print 30 photos in one charge. The cool thing about the LifePrint wireless printer is that it has a thermal print engine that doesn’t need any ink.
There are a few instant photo services out there like Polaroid Intagram cameras but LifePrint is unique because you can create your own network based on other people who have this device, meaning that just as you follow a friend on Twitter you can follow them on LifePrint and see what photos they’ve taken.
