As some might remember, not long ago, Microsoft released the Nokia 215, a $29 telephone that was flaunted as the cheapest Internet gadget available on the market. As a feature telephone, it won’t engage those used to the full particulars one would expect on a smartphone. But the newcomers target ‘conventional’ smartphone users displaying numerous features found with todays’ smartphones.
The Lumia 435 will be evaluated at approximately 69 euros (about $80) and the Lumia 532 will cost around 79 euros (about $90). Nevertheless, the prices will vary a little according to the country they are retailed in.
The release of the new gadget enforces the news that Microsoft carries a constant attack on markets that it considers it can still dominate, as Windows Phone gradually loses business in many Western countries.
Since the purchase of Nokia, Microsoft has clearly stated its targets with regards to Windows Phone. Rather than quickly launching devices to keep up with the Galaxy S5s and HTC Ones, it would concentrate on lowering the cost to rival the low-end Android gadgets that dominate the heft of the smartphone industry around the globe.
