The much awaited Moto X device has finally been announced to hit store shelves on the 1st of August. Media invites is already being served and the venue has been chosen to be New York. The reason why we can be so sure of the 1st August being the eventual release day of Motorola’s brand new smartphone is that ‘Moto X’ is splashed bang in the middle of the invite.
We have already had a healthy dose of leaks to make us aware of what to expect on that day. Among the things that we are already aware of the new smartphone offering from Motorola include specs that can be termed quite modest, which again should go well with the supposedly affordable price tag that smartphone is believed to come with. Upfront, it will be a 720p display and not 1080p that has almost become a norm as of now. On the other side of it, it will be a dual core chip powering the device which again can be considered a step down from the quad core chips that most of the front line smartphone now come powered with. Of course the trade-off here could be a much improved battery life, something that is already rumored to better the current trend by a significant margin.
Also included will be a 10 mp camera with enough tech bits built into it to ensure motion blur is reduced to just the minimum, leading to high quality pictures being taken. Also, there will be the plastic cladding which already stands confirmed though the promised additional casings remains a secret as of now. Motorola has already stated one of the USPs of the Moto X device will be its wide customizing options which includes casing of various colors as well as of various materials, including some made of wood as well.
The Moto X sis expected to make it to the consumer’s end by late August.
