The next Droid Ultra device for Verizon is finally here. Also, as was revealed in the images that got leaked a few days ago, the latest Droid Ultra is all about carbon fiber, or rather an over dose of it. Opinions might be divided here over how appealing the device has ultimately turned out to be though what can’t be denied is that the Droid Ultra device does look extremely well built and exude a feel of solidity.
Also, from the image of the device that got leaked, what seems evident is that Verizon might have undergone a change in mind as far as their depiction on the devices is concerned. For the front of the Droid Ultra device is completely devoid of any marking that would reveal its affiliation with Verizon. Instead, the carrier logo can be seen on the back of the device, towards the bottom. We have seen a somewhat similar sort of approach with the Verizon branded HTC One which too lacks markings of the carrier on the front. Surely not a bad idea on part of Verizon as with such an approach, the original looks of a device remains intact.
Coming to the specs of the upcoming device, while it is almost sure to match the best in business to ensure justice is done to the ‘Ultra’ badge the device carries, there is unfortunately nothing to share here at the moment. Except that the device is supposed to come with a 10 mp RGBC camera. That is the only thing that @evleaks can hint of right now though what RGBC means is anybody’s guess. There is no word either about when it will be launched though it seems to be not too far away.
