Users can set the watch to update at certain interval via the site. It can also be used if the wearer leaves the safety zone. If the wearer enters a zone that the smartwatch sees it a “danger zone” it will send a text message to alert the one who’s in charge. The new smartwatch for Alzheimer’s patients can record activity so the caregivers can configure the updates for the best interest of the watch wearer.
Thanks to the SIM card of the device the system can use what it’s called “cellular triangulation” for locating the wearer in indoor locations where a GPS can be out of its range. This SIM card makes the smartwatch usable in 145 countries.
