This may not come as a surprise after the fiasco Google and LG had, while dealing with the sales of the Google Nexus 4 through the Google Play Store, that LG has denied any involvement with the production of the next Nexus phone.
The Nexus 5 smart phone is likely to be launched before the end of 2013, along with its cousins from the phablet and tablet line.A spokesperson from LG had a discussion with the Korean site Chosun Biz regarding the matter. He stated that the rumors surrounding the involvement of LG with the production of the Google Nexus 5 are not true and such claims have no real source.
Google has always shuffled with the phone manufacturers for their Nexus products, with a different manufacturer every year for the Nexus phone. In this manner,Google has gone with HTC,Samsung and LG;with the exception of Samsung producing two Nexus phones – the Google Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus.
The spokesperson from LG also defending the company affirms the problem Google had while dealing with their demand of Nexus 4 was not at all LG’s fault. LG had been fully co-operative with Google and provided Google as many units as it had ordered. This could be somewhat true since it could have been
Google’s fault of promoting a false number of the total devices available, thus making it impossible for LG to keep the demand supply ratio balanced. The Nexus 5 is reported to have a quad core processor with a super HD display of 1080p.The tablet from the Nexus line will be called Google Nexus 7.7 and will have a Tegra 4 quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM.Judging from its name, the tablet will probably have a 7.7inch screen.
