Design-wise, Nikon 1 V3 looks very different than its previous brothers. It has a metallic body with a good grip and you can also add an additional grip separately. This beautiful camera has a 1.037 million-dot 3 inch LCD screen which you can tilt by 180 degrees.
Nikon 1 V3 comes with an 18.4 MP CX-format CMOS sensor that doesn’t have a low-pass filter and an EXPEED 4A image processor. Its ISO range can go from 160 to 12,800 and it features a hybrid AF system with an 171 contrast-detect AF points and 105 phase-detect AF points.
But the great thing about the new Nikon 1 V3 is its shooting speed. It has a 6 fps continuous shooting to up to 50 shots using the mechanical shutter and a 20 fps continuous shooting with F tracking and 40 shots with the electronic shutter. If you lock the focus, the continuosy shooting rate is of 60 fps. It makes a great camera for shooting sports.
