Nokia has been trying to make a comeback into the smartphone market with the new Lumia range that they are targeting for budget consumers. Nokia has now announced wide range of Lumia smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2013 that will differ according to various global regions. The Lumia 521 for the US market is the similar version of Lumia 520 that Nokia has launched for the international markets. T-Mobile USA has now made an announcement that they are the exclusive US partners for the entry level Nokia Lumia 521 that will be soon available in the North American market.
Nokia claims that although Nokia Lumia 521 is just an entry level Windows Phone 8 smartphone it still has certain features that will make it enjoyable and usable all over the American market.
T-Mobile has so far not provided more information on the pricing but revealed that the phone will be affordably priced and will have 4G HSPA+ connectivity. However, some of the experts predict that the price range of the Lumia 521 will be around $185. Similar to the Lumia 520 the new 521 will also have five megapixel camera at the rear side that can record 720p HD videos as well.
Under the phone Nokia has incorporated 1GHz dual core Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB onboard memory that can offer better storage capabilities. The phone also offers microSD card slot that can allow users to quickly expand the memory space to 64GB. On the front the Nokia Lumia 521 sports 4 inch WVGA IPS display. T-Mobile has said that they are trying to make this phone available to all budget consumers and therefore they will offer subsidies for handsets in exchange for the two year agreement. Nokia Lumia 521 will be available in five different colors that can do well with modern apparels.
