The smartphone segment is dominated almost exclusively by the likes of Samsung and Apple. The devices or the operating system updates that these companies have in the lineup for the year makes for interest and inquisitiveness about their future offerings. Coming to the latest that Samsung has come up with, the Galaxy S4 Zoom based on their current flagship, the Galaxy S4 is pitched slam bang against the likes of the Nokia EOS smartphone/camera. The S4 Zoom comes with large lens which Samsung has stated is for those who take photography with their smartphones rather seriously. Nokia, in their bid to stay relevant in the changed scenario is rumored to be developing the next gen EOS smartphone which will be based on the Windows operating system. The device a picture of which was revealed recently is being touted to have camera capabilities to match or better the ones coming from Samsung and Apple.
The leak which gives information about the EOS model from Nokia had the Lumia 920 also figuring alongside it. Comparing the two the only difference that could be made out was that the EOS was a bit thicker than the Lumia 920. The reason for this extra thickness is the more powerful camera that the EOS would sport. Release dates of the Nokia Lumia EOS is expected to be July. The leak also mentions about AT&T taking on the retailing of the device for its US customers.
The back facing camera on the Nokia Lumia EOS will be of 41 megapixel resolution. It would also have the front facing camera for video chatting. The gadget otherwise would have the features of PureMotion HD which is seen on the top end Lumia models of today. The display size of the Lumia EOS would be 4.5 inch. There would also be the powerful processor at its core which helps in making optimal use of the camera and appropriate apps that the gadget would come loaded with.
