According to India’s CyberMedia Research, in terms of budget phones sales,Nokia is still the top selling brand here. But the brand lags far behind in the
smartphone category. The Finland-based firm now wants to turn the things around. Some its direct competitors are Apple and Samsung. Apple too had recently refurbishes its strategy for sales in India in order to boost its market share.
Nokia Lumia 920, at $700 runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system.According to Nokia, the Lumia 920 is a strong competitor to Samsung Galaxy SIII
and the iPhone 5.With a dual-core 1.5 GigaHertz Snapdragon processor and 4.5 inch screen, the phone is already creating waves in the Indian market.
Thankfully, the Lumia smartphone series from Nokia has helped the brand to deflect those declining profits and is already helping it stabilize its global market share.More than .4 million Lumia devices were shipped by the brand in the fourth quarter of 2012.Nokia also launched 2 other models, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 which will enter the market next month.
