It appears as though the most rumored Nokia Lumia tablet that was ready with its entire set of specifications has been put to hold. Although the news gathered is unconfirmed, yet one can only assume from the present circumstances. With the name Nokia inscribed at the rear of the device, the 10.1 inch tablet has been left in the lurch, even though it’s packed with the latest NVIDIA chip. The source of the images of this device, is however of the opinion that the device was already dropped during its initial stages of product testing itself. The WPC forum has however mentioned that the device functions on NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor fixed at 1.3GHz and also runs on Windows RT. It has also been said that the machine also comes with a RAM of 2 GB, a full sized USB Port, a 16 point touchscreen up front and a micro SIM card slot. At a first look, this device resembles the Lumia phones.
In 2012, Marko Ahtisarri of Nokia has confirmed that a device like this is in the making and up till then much water has passed, and a device like this might have existed and has been forgotten. Leaked image could therefore be of one such prototype.
Again according to Chris Weber, the reason behind backing up Microsoft and Windows is the fact that they have huge ecosystem across tablets, PCs, mobiles and even TV with similar looks and infrastructure. Be it a tablet or something else it is a belief that one can play in that ecosystem as Windows is the unifying part of it. He even added that their union with Windows is a great one and they are as well coming together with other devices soon.
