The Tegra Note will come with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 display, quite low quality compared to the new Nexus 7, it will run on the Tegra 4 processor, 2GB of RAM and comes with a processor supported stylus, hence the ‘Note’ name.
NVIDIA has put a lot of effort onto the camera for some reason, the 5MP rear camera has the ability to shoot 100fps recording for slow-motion videos and NVIDIA has added Camera Awesome, a popular camera app on iOS.
The tablet will be getting lots of support from NVIDIA, including the company handling all the updates, something they have been incredibly good at with the NVIDIA Shield, fixing problems efficiently and making sure the experience is enjoyable.
The Tegra Note will come with multiple accessories including smart covers, special stylus tips, game controller support and Bluetooth. We can see this being a good gaming tablet, with the Tegra 4 processor having good graphical punch.
This is a reference tablet and NVIDIA will want other manufacturers to look at this and design something similar, with the Tegra 4 chip in mind. With Intel and Qualcomm competing against NVIDIA, it is hard for the manufacturer to grab most phone partners.
NVIDIA will start selling the Tegra Note for $199 and we are not sure about LTE options, we are guessing there is none available and there will only be a WiFi version.
