Samsung Galaxy S5’s Display – The Best in the World
Samsung has never been very good at making displays; they’ve always had problems with oversaturated colors, but with the Samsung Galaxy S5, it seems that they’ve outdone themselves. According to DisplayMate, the worldwide leader in video diagnostics, Samsung’s Galaxy S5’s display is the best display on a smartphone, better than the displays of Sony Xperia Z2, iPhone 5S and the HTC One M8.
DisplayMate stated that the S5 has the best performing smartphone display that they’ve ever tested, which is a lot, coming from the people who test every device they put their hands on.
Samsung Galaxy S5’s display is a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1080×1920 pixels (full HD resolution). The lab tests revealed that the display is the most accurate display on any smartphone at the moment, 22% brighter than the previous Samsung model, the Galaxy S4 and its forte is, apparently, its wonderful performance in outdoor lighting.
Samsung Galaxy S5’s display has a Super Dimming Mode which allows the screen brightness to be turn down low to a 2cd/m2, while still delivering a full 24-bit color, which means that the picture quality remains stunning!
