Samsung is often accused, and justifiably so of not doing much to push the mobile market in some new direction as far as design is concerned. Case in point, the new Galaxy S4 which might come along with tons of innovative features but is still encased in a cheap looking plastic body.
Also there is no denying the fact that we have grown so very familiar with the design by now. What seems amply clear is that Samsung is just not willing to take any form of risk in the design aspect of their devices including the much talked about Galaxy Note 3 phablet.
In April of this year there were rumors about the Note 3, which was in the coming, to feature a flexible display. The rumor was short lived though as soon thereafter, what seems almost confirmed is that Samsung will not be using any sort of flexible display on the Note 3. Samsung followers were however yet enthusiastic that the design of the Note 3 would be different and also the material used for the Note 3 would be of premium quality.
Samsung lovers are going to be really disheartened as there is confirmed information of Samsung not even bringing about any change to the design or material used as they fear the new design may not be liked by the consumers. It all finally boils down to the Note 3 being similar in look and feel as the SGS4 model. Samsung is also apprehensive of its ability to get that many metal body prepared before launch time to effect the change being discussed about in quality. As far as the release dates go, the Note 3 phablet can now be expected to be released somewhere in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
