Seems the rumors are doing another round for the Samsung’s next Flagship handset, Galaxy S4. Already there have been enough speculations and anticipations about the Galaxy S4. The latest seems to revolve around the use of plastic in the body.
Smartphone manufacturers have been using glass along with metal in moveable electronics. Apple made the design scheme trendy with the iPhone 4. Other manufactures imitated the Apple’s designing language and LG Nexus 4 and Sony Xperia Z are some good examples with use massive glass panels. HTC One, the recently introduced, boasts of a nice curved profile with chassis made of aluminum and polycarbonate hybrid.
It seems Samsung has decided to make use of cheap plastic on Galaxy S4,
its upcoming flagship smartphone. This may be a rumor but it is adding as another disappoint, especially after an earlier rumor indicating that the Galaxy S4 will get powered by only Snapdragon 600 processor. Users were expecting Exynos 5 Octa or Exynos 5410.
Whether we will get to see injection molded plastic components in Galaxy S4, which remains to be seen. There is always a chance of the device shattering to pieces if dropped for a height. We hope Samsung opts for a plastic design at least so as to avoid those irritating squeaks and creaks.
Galaxy S4 is expected to enjoy the lime light in New York City on the 14th of this month for the ‘Unpacked 2013′. With the rumors coming from those who claim to have seen the phone, the expectations from the product are sure getting charged up. Samsung seems to be enjoying all that buzz and to keep everyone guessing.
There has been an annoying reminder from Sasmsung about the initiating of the next round of Apple vs Samsung battle with the introduction of the Galaxy S4, on 14th March.
