Oppo N1 Review
The Oppo N1 is an enormous phone, with a 5.9-inch display. We’re not going to fool you, it’s not easy to hold in your hand and it’s quite heavy. It’s got a Full HD 1080 display and a powerful quad-core processor: the 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 (it’s not the 800 model, the one HTC One has or the LG G2). It also has 2GB of RAM, which makes it pretty fast and responsive.
The operating system is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and to be frank, it’s a fair competitor for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the famous Oscar selfie phone. It’s got the price of $615 dollars, which makes it pricey, but still in the flagship phones area.
The most awesome features of this phone are its swiveling camera, and the touchpad around the back.
The camera has a fast and 13MP sensor and you can rotate it 180 degrees – it functions as both a front and back facing camera which means that it’s the only phone in the world with a 13MP front-facing camera.
Another pretty awesome thing that nobody else is doing but Oppo is that they are including a wonderful flip case in the box, which functions as a display activator and deactivator when you close and open it (much as the iPad’s smart case). The folks at Oppo are including it for free with the phone, which we must say it’s pretty great!
