As Pokemon Go turns one, Niantic announced how it would continue innovating the game which took the gaming community by storm. Therefore, the company announced how it will start rotating Raid Bosses. The special Pokemon Go anniversary is approaching, and Niantic is expected to reveal more about the update.
What are Pokemon Go Raids?
Pokemon Go’s one year anniversary is close, and Niantic is expected to organize a special event and celebrate the immense success achieved by the game in this short period. Of course, many rumors circulated regarding this event, and fans suspect the company will introduce a Legendary Pokemon, as well as launch Level 5 for Raid Bosses.
In these Raids, Trains can catch rare Pocket Monsters, and unlock special features and rewards. Also, if they want to win the Raid they are into, they have to fight the Raid Bosses and defeat them. Many players can take part to these Raids, and they are given an hour to complete them.
Defeating the Raid Bosses might not always be easy, since they come in five difficulty levels. Since it gets harder and harder to overcome them, more players need to gather. Therefore, as the level of difficulty increases, the game requires more players to fight against the Bosses.
Fans are looking forward to a special anniversary event
Currently, the Raids lack a Level 5 for their Bosses. Therefore, fans hope this special event for one year of Pokemon Go will mark the release of this level, as well as the announcement of a new Legendary Pokemon.
Of course, this applies if Niantic actually hosts an event, but there are great chances it will do so. The update has already been confirmed, while the recent bug fix on the game has been accompanied by the discovery of a data string called ONE_YEAR_ANNIVERSARY. This convinced all the fans that a special Pokemon Go event must be approaching.
