The rumour mongers are having a field day speculating about the release of the next iphone. The new apple phone, likely to be called iphone 6, is expected to have a few surprises and could have a June release. Other rumours are rife about the phone being launched in October.

As Apple usually keeps mum, it is everyone’s guess about the new phone’s name. Apple traditionally sticks to the similar case for two generations while naming its phones. So this phone, which comes after apple 5, should ideally be named apple 5S. It is possible that Apple 5s will be a cheap phone and the Apple 6 an upgraded one.

Everyone is eagerly waiting for Apple to spring its surprise. The new phone will need a larger screen to fit additional pixels on its phone. The phones in the market are already equipped with screen size of 4.7 inch and more. Could it get possibly bigger?

Apple phone may not stick to the regular 64 GB of space. It is a possibility that the new phone will come out with storage that is double at 128 GB. Apple’s newest ipad 4 also comes with 128 GB of space. More storage means larger files, more photos and videos.

You can expect Apple to make modifications in its phone’s regular looks to tackle competition from rival phones. It could introduce a secondary screen with controls either in front or the back.This time round, Apple will introduce its passbook app which will display important coupons and tickets. The last iPhone did not come with NFC technology which the new phone is expected to have.

If Apple is looking to compete and keep its phone at pace with the latest processors it should go for a ARM Cortex A 15. This phone may remove passwords and come with finger sensors. Until it is actually launched, let us keep guessing.
