The New Kratos Statue
God of War has not been forgotten. Even though the series has not seen a new game for a few years, you can now expose your allegiance to Kratos with the new Kratos statue, which is set to be released on the 9th of December. It is Black Friday, however, so you can get this statue at a discount and with an extra goodie, so let’s see what there is to see about the new Kratos statue.
As mentioned before, the statue is going to be released on the 9th of December for the not so cheap price of $600. However, preordering it brings along a set of advantages: a $100 discount as well as an epic God of War t-shirt which comes in free of charge. But let’s think about some details. Ok, God of War was perhaps the greatest PlayStation title ever, right? But why would you give $500 or $600 for it? There must be a catch somewhere. After all, we could just stuff our own wallets with 500 bucks.
The thing is that Sony are making this special offer as a tribute to 10 years of God of War. Ten years ago, Kratos was starting his story for redemption and he has come a long way. The statue has a standard size of 26 inches and (wait for it) it is only limited to the magical number of 500 pieces. That’s right, only 500 people in the world will have this beauty. So if your allegiance is strong, it is totally worth it.
The last God of War encounter that we had was the remastered version of the third installment, specifically designed for the PlayStation 4. Despite being almost 4 years old, God of War 3 stills stands out as one of the greatest games that was made for the PlayStation console, with a great storyline, great action, brutal minigames and… other minigames that players know about.
There have been rumors that God of War 4 is in the making and even though they are rumors people can still believe that this game might happen. The way God of War 3 ended left a little bit of space for a story that could follow and there are fans out there who would love to see another installment. In short, Kratos practically took care of all the gods that were ruling over humanity, but there are surely more mythical creatures there that could only be a match for the true God of War alone.
