Would you rather Wii Fit or BangFit? We won’t judge.

The major online adult entertainment PornHub makes the headlines again (see $25K from PornHub to Hackers) with its product launch, BangFit, a new fitness program.

At the risk of sounding vulgar, we’ll say this fitness system “helps you bang to get fit,” but brace yourselves because PornHub’s upper management might cross the line a bit more than this.

PornHub says you too can be as “fit as F” if you transform your bedroom into a gym and share your BangFit awards on social media.

BangFit is a “gamified” sex program, an “interesting” intersection of tech, gaming, fitness, and, of course, porn. It offers a sex-based workout program course for tablets, laptops or desktops to use with a smartphone.

On an adjustable midsection band, you strap your smartphone, and the app records the hokey-pokey you mimic from the course with the phone’s motion sensors.

It’s like Wii Fit, you watch the cartoon images and imitate their actions. Players can also do it solo, with a partner or with two other players. You can also select the sex of the animated character.

There are a few levels of difficulty; going from basic positions you can reach acrobatic positions like “Missionary Press” or “Squat and Thrust”. The sensors track the number of movements and count the calories burned.

Corey Price, PornHub vice president, says the motivation behind BangFit is our busy, but sedentary schedules combined with the love of “getting busy.” He also used words like “pump” while you “hump” to describe what PornHub’s product offers the user. And he, himself, compares it with Wii Fit.

The Bangfit will be available soon, for now, its software is in beta mode.

Most critics consider the BangFit to be one of PornHub’s marketing stunts.

Founded nine years ago, PornHub receives around sixty million daily visitors and has more than three million videos posted. Their BangFit is another move in the “sex tech space,” after this year’s March announcement of free VR porn and 2015’s TwerkingButt (a robotic bottom that twerks) launch.
