Google Chromebook Pixel To Give Competition To Apple’s Macbook Pro

By 1 Comment

While Apple has always been ahead in the race there are many top firms that are now trying to bring out better devices that can do better than the Apple devices that consumers can find in the market. Google Chromebook laptops have a poor reputation in the market mainly because Google has always thought about launching laptops that can fit the affordable range and attract more local buyers to buy it. However, that isn’t working for Google and therefore Google has decided to launch out the new Google Chromebook Pixel that packs a punch and offers some tough competition to Apple’s Macbook Pro.
In terms of size Google Chromebook Pixel is certainly slightly smaller than Apple’s Macbook Air and Apple Retina Macbook Pro but it still works for the company. The new Chromebook Pixel offers 12.85 inch screen that packs a whopping 239 ppi which is far ahead of Apple’s Macbook Pro and Macbook Air.

The new Macbook Air offers 128 ppi while Retina Macbook Pro offers 227 ppi with their larger screens. The new Chromebook Pixel also has Gorilla Glass fused on it which makes the screen thinner than Apple’s flagship laptops.
Under the Chromebook Pixel the device is powered by Intel Core i5 dual core 1.8GHz processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In terms of internal storage Apple exceeds with 128GB space that is offered. However, Google has the trump card with 1TB of cloud storage space for consumers on Google Drive for three years. Google also offers free sessions of GoGo in-flight internet services and much more options. The exterior is designed with anodized aluminum which makes the Chromebook Pixel look and feel premium with the light bar that has the Google theme colors on it on the outer shell. In terms of price Google Chromebook Pixel beats Apple Retina Macbook Pro with $1300 but Apple is offering Macbook Air for just $1199 which is still a competition.
