The Wait is Over: Foursquare App for iPad Is Here

Foursquare App for iPad
Many iPad users have been waiting for the Foursquare app to be available on their Apple devices. Fortunately, the Foursquare app for iPad was revealed today and is ready to be downloaded and installed.
About ten days ago Foursquare revealed during a tech conference that they were working on an app for iPads. Everyone got really excited when hearing the news but were not expecting for the app to be released so soon.

The Foursquare app for iPad is ready to show its users the best restaurants around. It was about time Foursquare was made available for iPads too because it has been on the iPhone for quite some time. The best thing about it is that it was not designed exactly as the iPhone version, but was adapted for the iPad.

With the Foursquare app for iPad the users can see the top picks for their areas, appearing in the newsfeed as the latest and most popular restaurants worth checking out.
Foursquare app for iPad will show its users travel recommendations from the biggest cities worldwide. The users will also receive information regarding tourist destinations and local favorites they should check out.

Foursquare app for iPad does resemble the version for iPhone, which is more focused on local discoveries and recommendations but the iPad version has been updated to help the users plan holidays and trips outside their neighborhoods or cities.

The Foursquare app for iPad was updated with a new section which shows the users some of the best and top-rated places in their neighborhood. The recommendations are divided into local mainstays, up-and-coming and newly popular. If the users are visiting bigger cities, the new Foursquare app for iPad will recommend them the most popular attractions among tourists. Also, the Foursquare app for iPad will show the best visiting sites that are not on the map.

The release of the Foursquare app for iPad is a very good news among Apple tablet users, especially since Foursquare parted ways with Swarm. Steven Rosenblatt, Foursquare chief revenue officer said that because of that split made the Foursquare app for iPad possible.
