Magzter, The New Word For Unlimited Digital Magazines Access

By Leave a Comment

Magzter, The New Word For Unlimited Digital Magazines Access Most magazine subscriptions nowadays have gone premium. The client base has dropped and the publishers need to make do with what they’ve got.  The average membership fee is from $20 to $60 per year and the costs cover only a small range of journals and publications, probably around 60 titles. But some publishers and retailers are trying to lower the monthly subscriptions while offering quality content. Magzter, a startup publisher is among them. The company used to offer individual memberships and issues by means of the Magzter application. But this was still a paid membership, either per issue or per magazine. Now, Magzter introduces a new unlimited digital magazines access dubbed Magzter Gold, replicating something Netflix has already rolled out a while ago.

Rivaling other comparable services including those of Next Issue and Readr, Magzter Gold offers clients boundless access to Magzter’s archive of virtual magazines for smartphone, tablet, and the Internet  at $9.99 a month.

Magzter’s executive Girish Ramdas declared for Techcrunch that it had been constantly playing with the thought of a Netflix-style membership. However he didn’t go ahead with the idea so far because the publisher did not have enough distributers to make it profitable. Presently, two years after its launch, Magzter has the content it needs to start this project.

At dispatch, Magzter Gold has more than 2,000 publications including Maxim, ESPN The Magazine, and Fast Company in the U.S., and various top periodicals in more than 40 different nations.

Beside the $9.99-every month Magzter Gold, Magzter is putting forth Magzter Gold Lite for $4.99 a month. At 50% the cost of the premium membership version, this basic membership service is like Zinio’s Z-Pass in that it offers clients boundless access to any five publication titles every month. That is probably sufficient for clients who are keen on a modest bunch of magazines.

With its not ridiculously priced boundless membership choices, Magzter relies on attracting more clients to its 24 million client base.

In addition to rolling out Magzter Gold, Magzter has upgraded its official iOS application to 4.0 with another configuration showing: live news, customization according to interests, improved inquiry and social networking, speedier downloading pace, notification managing, and full resolution back up for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The app is supported by with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad working on iOS 7.0 or newer. Magzter 4.0, with backing for Magzter Gold, is accessible now on the App Store free of charge.

In case you’re interested in publications like Forbes, MAXIM, Newsweek and New York Magazine, then Magzter is a great hotspot for your reading preferences.
