According to sources inside GoPro, the new camera concept will we something to behold. GoPro Hero 5 is reported, half the size of GoPro Hero 4 and will weight about 0.55 pounds. And apart from the rich display and the high-quality imaging sensors, the camera also has other goodies up its sleeve.
The company announced that they have been thinking about making the camera more mobile. And so, GoPro felt like sticking a drone feature to the camera is the best way to get the crowd’s attention. Yes, you heard it right. The new GoPro Hero 5 camera, which will probably be launched next year, will be drone-ready and able, meaning that the camera can be attached to any flying drone in order to take HQ snaps of your surrounding.
And if that wasn’t enough to get your attention, then you should know that GoPro is also into drones. In fact, earlier this year, the company released its first drone, entitled GoPro Karma. You can get the famous GoPro flying wonder-child for 5000 dollars.

As stated, GoPro aims for lightweight cameras, and it would seem that the new camera concept abides by this principle. The new camera will weight approximately 0.55 and will be half the size of its predecessor, the GoPro Hero 4.
