I was wondering, do people still use a mouse? I’m talking about the ones who don’t use it for games, of course. Last time I used a mouse was, I believe, when I just got Photoshop and I was messing around with it, trying to brush out a pimple from a photo of mine. And that was like four years ago. Anyway, for gamers, we’ve come with great news because there’s a new mouse in town: Logitech G502 gaming mouse. The official name is Proteus Core and it comes after last year’s previous model, the G500.
The new mouse comes with a 12,000 DPI sensor which, says Logitech, is the most accurate and powerful sensor available at the moment. Logitech also brags about the design of the G502, saying that there’s no other mouse on the market that looks like theirs.
One of the best features of the Logitech G502 gaming mouse is that it has the ability to calibrate the new sensor on a lot of different surfaces which optimizes tracking and the lift-off distances. The new gaming mouse can also store data in its internal memory and it can also select the profiles and programmable macros. It features left and right keyplates that are separated from each other, triangle buttons on its left side and more defined thumb grips. Logitech has also replaced the rubber scroll button with a bigger metal scroll wheel.
Logitech G502 gaming mouse – price and availability
The new Proteus Core mouse has gone on sale this April in Europe and the US and it costs about $80, which is $30 more than their previous G500.
Some of us here at GadgetGestures are die-hard gamers and some of our colleagues told us that they’re really excited about the new Logitech G502 gaming mouse and as soon they’ll purchase it they will let you know more details about it.
