Oppo loves to keep a crowd happy, regularly announcing and teasing their latest smartphones months before launch and keeping users on the edge of their seats. It looks like the Find 7 will be the next flagship from Oppo, with an official statement saying it is coming soon.
In the past month news on the Find 7 has grown and last week we got our first big specifications list leaked, showing a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 display. Other reports say the Find 7 will have LTE, 32GB of internal storage and a huge battery to keep the smartphone powered for more than day.
We are still waiting to see a real photo of the Oppo Find 7, unfortunately it looks like Oppo is keeping its cards close to its chest, not sending the phone to anyone who is likely to leak it out. There is another smartphone Oppo is currently working on, the Oppo R1, said to revolutionise taking photos in the dark.
The Find 7 is likely to have a design similar to the Find 5 with a touch of the Oppo N1. We are not sure about the camera, Oppo may not opt for the same rotating camera on the Oppo N1, it seems like a little bit of an odd choice and a rather expensive one for the Chinese manufacturer.
It is pretty exciting adding the Find 7 to the pack of smartphones coming sometime in early 2014. The Galaxy S5, HTC One (two?), Sony Xperia Z2 and LG G3 are all expected to be released around that time slot, with higher-resolution displays and new Qualcomm processors to run even faster, alongside 3GB of RAM.
This looks to be the next gradual update on the Android line and it may be the first time Oppo experiences worldwide growth, after a few years working solely in China with little influence on the West.
