Facebook Say Thanks Service Is On The Roll

say thanks video tool

If you are an avid Facebook user you will be happy to know that there is a new tool for you to use and enjoy. The Facebook Say Thanks service is a new feature that allows users to create personalized video cards to share with their buddies and family members. The video tool allows users to use pre – existent themes, add their own photos and status updates and create a video card they can then post to their friends’ timelines.

The Facebook Say Thanks service is expected to witness worldwide success, as it will be available in other languages besides English, namely French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and even Indonesian, among others.

This new service comes as an attempt from Facebook to not only welcome the Christmas spirit and global kindness and gratitude towards our fellow humans, but also to push the networks’ standards higher up. Encouraging users to share custom made videos ensures Facebook supremacy among social media moguls and gives its pool of fans the chance to create, share and receive a lot more videos than before.

If you are interested in the service, you have to know that all video cards you can create are only 45 seconds in length, enough to express gratitude and love towards your friends.

All you have to do is to access the Thanks link (don’t worry, it will show up on your desktop and mobile device soon enough) and choose the person you want to create the video for. Next, you have to choose among the four available themes (“old friends,” “friends”, “complicated” and “family”) and start getting creative, by adding photos and editing photos and messages.

You can also add a personalized message, and given the forthcoming winter holidays, we assume the messages will all be in the same spirit at the beginning. Hitting the “Share” button allows the video to be posted on your timeline and on the tagged friend’s timeline as well.

Since there is no limit to the number of videos you can create and since you can basically categorize almost all your relationships in the four main themes, you have a powerful tool to directly share your feelings of love, gratitude, respect and affection with close friends, people you work with, children and even business partners.

Celebrating friendship is the network’s core value, according to its officials, so wait for the Facebook Say Thanks service to become alive and share your feelings with the people in your life!

Youtube adds new video tools for creators

Youtube introduced new video tools for creators

To provide feed-back in order to enhance a product is rewarding, especially when it is acknowledged by the producers. YouTube Creators’ Matthew Glotzbach and Oliver Heckmann state that they based the new Youtube updates on users’ feedback. At the Vidcon in Anaheim on Thyrsday, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, announced a number of changes to Youtube. A total number of nine updates have been added to the video platform. The changes are aimed to strongly increase Youtube’s interactivity. We will present a couple of the most impressive new Youtube video tools.

Youtube’s impressive new video tools

One of the most important is the new option to get funding from fans. Inspired by crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo, Youtube’s team offers from now on the possibility to fund your ideas in accordance with supporters’ interest. Moreover, there will be new options of showing the creators’ credits in separate specialized fields such as actors, writers and editors.

For regular users, one of the most impressive Youtube video tools surely is the new option to play videos at 48 and even 60 frames per second. It adds a new level of realism to the Youtube experience and the creators are eager to test the option, as well as the other new video tools as soon as possible.

New sound effects stored in the Audio Library can be used to enhance the video and audio experience on Youtube. The Audio Library contains sounds ranging from zombie screams to fighter-plane sounds.

Although Youtube seems to get way better, a recent controversy is on its tail. Youtube grew into the largest streaming provider in the world. Naturally, the vast majority of musicians ended up depending on the platform. A couple of days ago, Youtube announced changes in the royalty terms and rates which appear to be unfair to independent labels. Maybe the new video tools, primarily the funding platform offered by Youtube, will help solve the dispute in agreeable terms.

For a full preview of how Youtube will be able to offer enhanced playback options, check out these three showcase videos offered by the broadcaster. Change the quality settings to the 1080p so you can enjoy blazing fast action which is more realistic than ever! As a reference, director Peter Jackson shot ‘The Hobbit’ in 48 frames. Now you will be able to enjoy a higher image quality than ever before with the new video tools!

Least, but not last, keep sending your feedback to Youtube, as it just might turn into reality!
