Expect No Man’s Sky In June 2016
Expect No Man’s Sky in June 2016. This is what the developers have announced after some fans believed that the game was being “ninja released” on October 27th. Sadly, a lot of people were disappointed that the game was not coming as fast as some said it would, but even the June 2016 release does not sound bad at all given the fact that this is one of the most awesome games that will ever be released.
In case you are not familiar with No Man’s Sky, it is a title designed for the PlayStation 4, although we could expect it on the PC as well, in which you will have to make a character and explore the universe that surrounds you. We know, it doesn’t look too interesting after the first explanation, right? It does everything that any other game can, so where is its strong point?
The most fascinating thing about No Man’s Sky is that it is a generally procedurated world. This means that anywhere you go, at any given time you will be able to discover worlds, stars, constellations and even universes that nobody has ever discovered before. Every world will be different, every creature that you will ever meet will be different and, most of all, the world will be infinite.
This practically breaks the boundaries that every MMORPG has ever set for its players. We know for a fact that games have certain limits that have to be maintained. In some games you must only walk the pre-established path, in others you have to stay within the limits of the map and in some you even have to swim up to a certain point so that you do not get eaten by sharks or piranha.
And then you have a game like No Man’s Sky that comes in and shows you that the possibilities are infinite. Imagine that you can start as a random player in the game, get a ship and go explore the entire universe on your own. And we really do mean universe. If you want to make it a goal to start the game in day one and plan to travel the universe for 1 entire year, you will see that you barely got anywhere.
We are going to get our hands on No Man’s Sky in June 2016 and by the looks of it, a lot of people are going to be interested in the purchase and the exploration. Let’s be honest for a moment: it’s about time we got a game with as many awesome features as this one and with an unlimited world, too.
