Sony has already revealed its PlayStation 4 details which includes its price as well though it has left us guessing on the other crucial aspect, that of its launch date. However, there is the teaser ad Sony has come up with perhaps to give us an inkling to what we have been seeking the most giving us a hint of Sony PS4 release date.
The ad though carries the image of a solar eclipse while also carrying the words ‘When Worlds Collide’ only with nothing else to tell us what it is all about.
Now if Sony wants us to calculate when is such a celestial event set to occur, astronomers have said the earliest the world is to witness a solar eclipse is on November 3. Couple this to an earlier announcement by Sony that its PS 4 will be launched towards the end of the year and we might have already come across the release date of PS4.
Also, if that is indeed when the PS 4 makes it to the store shelves then it will get to have the early advantage over Microsoft who’s Xbox One is also slated for a year end release. The PS 4 is also priced a full $100 less than the Xbox One, priced as it is at $400 against the Xbox One’s $500. Also, if the OS 4 is released that early, it will enable Sony to clear off the first batch of the gaming consoles before getting a fresh lot to offer the holiday shopping crowd. Providing a twist though is a recent revelation by Toys R Us which is claiming the PS 4 will be released on December 13 compared to a November 29 release date for Xbox One. We got to wait a few more months to get to know which of the two new gen gaming consoles will be arriving first.
