Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date in September – Possible Specs and Features discussed

By Leave a Comment

The launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be in September at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin. However, another report points out the arrival of Note 3 has been delayed till the end of September due to various reasons, one of which is the ongoing debate on whether it’s LCD or AMOLED screen that should finally make up the display of the new phablet.

The rumors regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have been doing the rounds for the last couple of months and seems to have picked up pace as well approach its launch at the end of September. The device will eventually witness Samsung Galaxy Note 2 being replaced by Note 3 as the new flagship device from Samsung. Although there has been no dearth of rumors regarding the device, not much is known about the device.

From what has emerged over the months, the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 is likely to come with a 13 megapixel camera, (the S4 too features a 13 megapixel at the rear) with a 5.7 to 6 inch 1080p display making up the front. As for its processor, it can either be an Exynos 5 Octa or a Snapdragon 800 quad core chip or both powering different versions of the device. Rumor earlier suggested that this device might come with LCD display to either join or replace the AMOLED display, whereas a new report mentioned that Samsung could also release this phone with both the display types.

ETNews has also confirmed that Samsung has plans of adopting the LCD screen from Sharp and also use the AMOLED display as well. It can be expected that the reason behind such a decision could be the demand of LCD screens that are less demanding on the battery while allowing for accurate stylus inputs.

However it is quite surprising to see that Samsung has made an announcement about the arrival of Note 3 at the end of September. This is the first instance whereby such a specific date has been declared, although nothing is yet confirmed about the exact date of its arrival. All fingers are thereby pointed at early September IFA 2013 which clearly makes it possible for the release to happen at the end of the month since Samsung usually follow up an official launch with a market release in a month’s time.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date Rumors – Check out the Possible Specs And Features

By Leave a Comment

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is set to release late this year. It is one of the most talked-about smartphones of 2013. Samsung has not yet confirmed anything officially over its Galaxy Note 3. It is also not clear if Samsung will brand the flagship as Note 3. The hot performance of Galaxy Note 2 in the smartphone market has raised fans’ anticipation on its successor. Rumors round Galaxy Note 3 are swiftly swirling in the pool.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is supposed to release at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013 in Berlin on September 6. Many tech forums have released benchmarks on Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but genuineness of these is unconfirmed. Galaxy Note 2 was coded as GT-N7200, so accordingly its successor, Note 3 is to be coded as GT-N7200. But it typically depends on Samsung’s branding tactics.

The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a 13MP camera, 5.99 inches 1080p display, Android Jelly Bean v.4.3 and 1.6 GHz processor. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features Exynos 5 Octa that has the same processor speed. Android Jelly Bean v4.3 is to be released alongside the white variant of Nexus 4 this June.

Previously, there were rumors that Galaxy Note 3 will run on Android Key Lime Pie v.5.0. But Google I/O Conference organized roughly a week back did not unveil anything on Android 5.0. So, if Galaxy Note 3 is to hit the shelves this September, it will likely operate on either Android 4.2.2 or a slightly advanced Android version 4.3.

Reportedly, Samsung has chosen the same plastic framework for its Galaxy Note 3 as in S4, but the Korean Tech will probably render the appearance of aluminum brush with its plastic skeleton this time, as that will satisfy customers who were anticipating a metallic chassis for Galaxy Note 3. But before Note 3, some variants of Samsung Galaxy S4 are awaiting launch, including Galaxy S4 Mini, S4 Activ and S4 Zoom. Also, two variants of Samsung Galaxy Mega are to hit the shelves this summer.
