The Galaxy S4 release date on Verizon customers is something which is unclear from the begining. For those who want to grab a Verizon’s Samsung S4, the long wait is almost over! Verizon has recently scheduled and passed through with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) filing so that the agency could see their version of Samsung Galaxy S4. Just the other day, we saw the Sprint version of Galaxy S4 which also made its way through the labs of the Feds.
It was confirmed that the model number of the Verizon version is SCH-I545 and is fully compatible with Verizon’s 700MHz band, AWS network and LTE. Moreover, the phone is HSPA+ 3G supported, leading us to believe that it is a global device, thus an ideal gadget for those who are looking forward to take it outside the United States for a business trip or vacation.
Back in mid-March after Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 at the event in New York City, many comments came up mostly from AT&T and T-Mobile that they have plans to carry the Samsung’s new flagship smartphone. After few days past, largest carriers in the U.S. including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S Cellular and Verizon confirmed Galaxy S4 for arrival. While AT&T and U.S. Cellular will caps out pre-orders on April 16, and T-Mobile announced to plan for the release of the mobile device by May 1, Verizon remained silent about this matter.
The carrier didn’t acknowledge the device nor mention a pre-order. In fact, no tweets came out from their Twitter accounts. But because of the news that breaks the silence of Verizon, we are now an inch closer to the date that we could actually own that version of Galaxy S4.
And that is all about. No info has been provided yet with regards to its price and release date. These two interesting details are the most awaited part for the prospective buyers. The only rumor we heard is the release date which is by May 23, one month after the other carriers begin the selling of their own version of Galaxy S4.
