It hasn’t been long since Nokia France announced on their Facebook page that the name Nokia Lumia will changed into Microsoft Lumia. Microsoft purchased Nokia for approximately $7.5 billion, sealing the deal at the beginning of 2014. The purchase gave Microsoft all the legal rights to the Lumia products.
The recent rebranding comes with a new phone as well: Microsoft Lumia 535. Photos of the awaited smartphone have been leaked on the internet recently, allowing us to get a more detailed look at the new Microsoft handset.
First of all, the Microsoft Lumia 535 is the first smartphone since Microsoft purchased Nokia. Both companies, Microsoft and Nokia, have been teasing the launch of a new Lumia phone for some time now and supposedly the official release will be in November 11. The leaked photos could have spoiled the surprise but we’re certain the official release will still have its surprises.
The leaked photos of the upcoming Microsoft Lumia 535 match the ones Microsoft and Nokia posted on their Facebook pages recently, so it must be the real thing if anyone had any doubts still.
The new Microsoft Lumia 535 will features a 5 inch qHD screen, a snapdragon 200 processor of 1.2GHz, 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. It will also come with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera, a 1,900 mAh battery and will have support for dual SIM cards.
The new Microsoft Lumia 535 will be 140,2×72,45×9,32mm and it will supposedly weigh about 145.7g.
Another leaked photo of a Microsoft Lumia smartphone is the Lumia 1330. From what we can make out looking at the pictures, it seems that the new Lumia 1330 will be blue, will have a very large “behind”, and we assume that it will feature a large display of 6 inches. There are no other official details about the new Lumia smartphone and no one knows for sure if this phone will be revealed at the Microsoft event on Tuesday, November 11.
With all these information leaked before the actual event, how will Microsoft surprise its audience at tomorrow’s official event?
