Google is ready to announce the launch of two LG smartwatches which will be equipped with Android Wear 2.0, the newly developed smartwatch operating system. Android Wear 2.0 will be launched in February. Google has collaborated with LG to develop these two smartwatches. The price established for the new LG Watch Style is approximate $249.
If the rumors were to be true, the price of the new watch might be considered accessible by fans. Nevertheless, some may say that this is just a possible price and it may be higher than expected. People should not get their hopes up in vain and wait to see an official price. The price of the new LG Watch Style could vary depending on whether you may choose another band or casing.
These changes will trigger the price to go up, depending on the material and quality of the customizations. Nevertheless, there appeared no rumor regarding the price of the other new smartwatch namely the LG Watch Sport. The watch will feature NFC technology and LTE connectivity. Some may say that this will be sold at a more high price.
Some speculate that the new Watch Sport will cost about $100 more than the LG Watch Style. However, all these rumors should be taken into consideration with a grain of salt. We should all expect Google to make a public announcement regarding the price of each smartwatch. Meanwhile, some images of the newly developed LG smartwatch known as Watch Style were leaked.
The new watch will be available in two colors, Rose Gold and Silver. The new watches are expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, in late February. Last year, the Android Wear 2.0 software was announced by Google. It is bound to bring a significant update to the wearable platform. The update was bound to be implemented before the end of 2016, but for some reason, this was not possible.
Some speculated that this delay might be related to the software or probably the hardware was not ready either. However, Google granted to launch the Android Wear 2.0 in February. The LG Watch Sport and Watch Style will be the first watches to feature the newest smartwatch OS from Google.
