Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is to be released in the coming months, and many people are already buzzing about the features and capabilities of the new smartphone. Some of the reports around suggest that the S4 will have a very strong or even bendable screen. The phone is said to be very thing and possibly have a laser keyboard.
These are just expectations, but certain analysts have studied the recent trends in the market and developers, and some things can be projected to be a feature on Samsung’s new flagship phone.
The operating system of the Galaxy series has always been android, and this will continue with the S4. It will likely come with jelly bean v4.2, but should be upgradable to v4.3 when this new OS becomes available in May.
The display of the S3 was 4.8 inches, and with the new surge of five inch screens, the S4 is expected to have a 5 inch screen. This screen could very well break some ground and wrap around the lip on the handset, giving a new area for messages and alerts to appear. The S4 is also projected to have LED notifications, with different colors designated different alerts.
The Galaxy S4 will undoubtedly have a quad core processor, and many consumers would like to see the speed of this CPU reach 1.8 GHz or greater. This is more than possible considering the already available speeds of some comparable devices.
While a lot of people are making the transfer to Internet storage versus internal storage, most pictures and videos are getting larger. This means that the Galaxy S4 will most likely have loads of memory, as well as a slot that supports an SD card.
All of these projections, while well researched, cannot be confirmed until the release of the phone in the coming months. Until then, we will all just have to keep dreaming and making wish lists for Samsung to capitalize on.
