Microsoft is clearly in great need of a successful new operating system, as Windows 8 received a great deal of negative feedback from both the tech experts and tech enthusiasts. The world wide web is full of negative comments on Microsoft`s latest operating system and the forums look like they are urging for a better OS to run the personal computers by Microsoft. And the American tech giant seems to have learned their lesson and, under Satya Nadella as chief executive officer, the company tends to turn back on the right road. Recently, Microsoft has released a new tech preview of their upcoming operating system, and most analysts in the field have stated that Windows 10 promises major improvements, as it could have been seen in the preview. Many voices added that they hoped Microsoft took their time to make the best out of Windows 10, even if the developers may be rushing to get the product finished by the end of summer this year.
Windows 10 promises to fix the problems of its predecessor
Microsoft 10 promises major improvements, still they are not in connection to the replacement of the poor, old fashioned and intensely mocked all around the world wide web Internet Explorer. Spartan is reckoned to bring some changes and improvements by every person in connection to the world of technology, still we will not say good bye to Internet Explorer as soon as Windows 10 gets released. Microsoft knows that there are more important things to get fixed up.
Build 10061, as Microsoft called the most recent tech preview of their upcoming operating system, has been released on Wednesday. Still, it has not yet been made available for anyone. Gabe Aul, an official talking on behalf of Microsoft and the leader of the Windows 10 insider program has made a comment on this situation. Gabe Aul has published a post on his blog within which he explained that the Build 10061 is only available to Fast Ring users at the moment. What`s the deal with the Fast Ring you may legitimately ask. Well, the thing is that Microsoft offers these builds, like the 10061, through two kinds of so called Rings. The Fast Rings is the first to get the newest previews on Windows 10. While that sounds good, the builds which are quickly sent to Fast Ring users usually come with numerous bugs, or at least there is a risk to feature a considerable amounts of bugs.
On the other hand, the Slow Ring users have to wait longer to get the builds, but they have the advantage of receiving tech previews which are considered to be more stable, and have visibly fewer bugs.
The main purpose of the upcoming operating system by Microsoft, Windows 10, that everybody is anxious to see how it works by the end of this summer, is not to repeat the mistakes that made Windows 8 receive such a negative feedback. One of the most present among the accusations against Windows 8 was in connection to the interface of the operating system, which clearly features a design which resembled a tablet friendly approach. PC users just could not get along with that.
Microsoft intends to change that and in order to do so they have released the Insider program, within which users get to see in which stage the progress on the Windows 10 is and test the capabilities of the operating system as it looks at that moment. Afterwards, they have the chance to offer a feedback, and by doing so lending a hand to Microsoft in designing the best Windows they could launch. Windows 10 intends to be a user friendly operating system, with an interface that would satisfy every user, whether they have a PC, a tablet, a laptop or a smartphone.
Improvements to the Mail app
In the most recent build, the 10061, Microsoft presents the improvements that have been applied to the Mail app, which has been neglected by now, and also criticized for its performance and short range of capabilities.
The Mail app designed for Windows 10 looks as modern and practical as the best Mail clients of our days. In the first, place, the new app by Microsoft allows the user to toggle between Calendar and Mail very easily. The swipe gestures that you wish to use inside the Mail app for various functions can be customized. Windows 10 lets its users choose how to mark their e-mails as read or unread, which gesture to make in order to move an e-mail or delete it.
The new Mail app also features a toolbar which lets users personalize the content sent by e-mail. For example, they can choose for the color and the font of the text, which can be accompanied by tables and pictures. No worries if you are in a hurry, the Mail app can run a spell check for you.
